Naftohaz Ukrainy Settles Accounts With Gazprom for May
14:32, Friday, June 4, 2010As Ukrainian News earlier reported, Naftohaz Ukrainy and Gazprom on April 21 signed an additional agreement to the gas contracts between them of 19 January 2009. Naftohaz Ukrainy and Gazprom retained the "take or pay" condition in the gas contracts and the gas price formula.
The gas price for Ukraine was higher than USD 305 per thousand cubic meters in the January-to-March quarter of 2010. For the second quarter the price was expected at USD 330 per thousand cubic meters but with account of the new arrangements it now makes some USD 236 per thousand cubic meters.
