An interesting video that illustrates how Russia destroys the Arctic glaciers and frees the Arctic from ice, which is Moscow’s strategic goal. The melting iceberg creates a Cold Blob, a patch of anomalous cold water that weakens and slows down the Gulf Stream and AMOC. Cold Blob creates preconditions for atmospheric blocks, generating stalled weather patterns in Europe, be it prolonged heat waves or persistent rainfall, turning into floods.

Understanding Russian strategic thinking, it is logical to presuppose that the Russians use military icebreaking submarines to carve off the marine glaciers, just pushing them from beneath is enough to accelerate the process.
The iceberg moves into the Atlantic waters and, melting, creates what is known as a “mysterious cold blob,” even though there is nothing mysterious about it. Simple mechanical fracturing of the glaciers, which happens daily on their own. The difference is in the scale of fracturing - the same as that of other natural phenomena that the Russians exploit by increasing, intensifying them, etc.
By calving off the glaciers in Greenland, the Russians not only create a cold blob, a weather pattern that distorts the global climate by weakening AMOC and creates deadly weather patterns in Europe, but also raise the ocean levels, which directly affect the US, where the situation is getting to a critical level.
To confuse the situation and cover up their efforts, Russians intentionally distorted the timeline of the cold blob's appearance. If several months ago AIs suggested that the cold blob first appeared in 2016 when the Russians activated the Arctic melting, now, after several media campaigns, the same AI says that it appeared at the beginning of the 20th century, which is an intentional fake fed to AI, and AI obediently takes it as the ultimate truth.
Interestingly, the campaign, distorting the cold blob timeline, appeared a couple of weeks after my article, where I first exposed the Russians’ intentional efforts.
Moscow uses other methods too, but this could be prevalent due to its simplicity. Simple fracturing of glaciers and ice is an effective way to liberate the Arctic from ice, as the Russians call it.
This explains why Russians periodically disrupt European monitoring underwater systems and why the #TrumpAdministration, inspired by Moscow, intended to dismantle the American monitoring system, but backed down later. Common sense prevailed over Russian tricksters, be it feeding AI with fake information or using reflexive control to make the adversary play against their own interests.
The Observer Effect is extremely important for containing Russian aggression in the Arctic, as it makes it more difficult to destroy the glaciers when under monitoring. The situation could be much worse if the decision-makers and the public were unaware of Russian intentions and actions.
And the clearer the understanding of Russians’ intentions, the easier to monitor them. And the better results will be achieved in the future - from restoring the climate by halting the efforts to destroy it, to normalization of weather, when instead of whiplashes from one extreme to another due to artificial blockages, there is fair weather.
The progress already achieved is a basis for optimism that the deterioration can be stopped and even reversed. However, the only observation and monitoring are not enough. This is just a low start for the work to restore the climate and prevent the deadly weather patterns, intentionally weaponized by Russia in its #climate/#weather/#geophysical #war against the #West and humanity.
By breaking the main global current, Russia destroys not only Western countries but other countries too, as the currents are globally interconnected. By destroying ice in the Arctic and de-freezing it, creating blockages to #AMOC, Russia by default destroys the Antarctic, too.
If the Arctic's capacity to cool heat from the tropics is diminished by the Cold Blob, the Antarctic should take more heat, which accelerates its melting too.
As the Antarctic can’t cool all the heat, it remains uncooled, raising the overall global temperature. Hot weather in combination with artificial atmospheric blocks generates catastrophic weather in Europe, while Russia receives the benefits of climate change.
For generating atmospheric blocks and heat waves in the US, which generate multiple disasters, from firestorms to floods, Russia activates different atmospheric blocks, but the essence is the same.
