NO MORE HURRICANES IN THE GULF? OBSERVER EFFECT 1.0
It was interesting to see meteorologists not hide their disappointment with Tropical Storm #Bertha, dubbing it “ugly, disorganized, sloppy, blobby” and “unimpressive hot mess.”
Meteorologists love big, beautiful tropical cyclones. Recent Super Typhoon Bavi evoked meteorologists’ explosion of admiration and awe of Mother Nature's wrath, despite its destructive nature.
The disappointment with Bertha recalled the situation in March, when a promised destructive supercell tornado with gigantic hail didn't happen, and meteorologists had to apologize for the wrong forecast. The supercell tornado was suddenly canceled by the Russians after my post, exposing their involvement and describing how it works.
The Observer Effect did its job. #Geophysical weapons make sense only when hidden. If exposed, the Russians typically retreat, returning later when the pressure is off.
Meteorologists definitely expected more from Bertha, which is the second weak tropical storm this season. It looks like from now on, all the tropical systems in the Gulf will be weak, blobby, sloppy, and without a chance of turning into catastrophic hurricanes. Thrill chasers will definitely be disappointed, as dealing with tropical storms will turn into a boring routine instead of an exciting adventure.
And not only because of strong wind shear provoked by a high-pressure heat dome or the hot blanket of a Saharan Dust Plume, both of which effectively suppressed Bertha’s formation.
Even without the external suppression, the tropical storms in the Gulf of Mexico had lost their potential to turn into destructive storms due to the main factor - deep water temperature, which is and will be colder.
Why? Because the main reason for the deep water artificial heating was neutralized, due to my warning in October 2024, after the tragic Hurricane Helene landfall, about the Russians' covert efforts for heating the deep waters of the #Gulf of Mexico, which makes this historical turn especially pleasant to me. No thrills needed.
However, colder subsurface water alone won’t resolve the problem completely; there are more ways to neutralize hurricanes at the stage of disturbances, but this is the main and big step forward - from passive victimhood to active weather security measures.
Deep Subsurface Water Temperature As Fuel Factor
As I mentioned, the basic reason why both Arthur and Bertha didn't have a chance of developing into hurricanes is deep water temperature. Even if the surface water temperature in the Gulf now is higher by about 2C than in the hot 2024, when two rapidly intensified hurricanes, Helene and Milton, made a catastrophic landfall.
What made the 2024 hurricane season so aggressive was deep, subsurface warmth that allowed hurricanes to rapidly intensify just before landfall. What made Hurricane Helene and Milton rapidly intensify just before landfall was deep subsurface warm waters, which then were extremely hot.
Although surface temperatures are extremely high across the Gulf this season, the heat is strictly “skin-deep,” while subsurface water temperatures in the Gulf are record low.
The restricted amount of heat, which is necessary for hurricane formation, does not allow storms to rapidly intensify, even if there are no additional factors suppressing it, unlike this season, when there is an abundance of them.
The Observer Effect in Action
Why did ocean heat content become record low? In October, 2024, after the catastrophic Hurricane Helene, I warned NOAA about the Russian special-purpose submarines, equipped to heat the deep waters in the Gulf of Mexico and Caribbean Sea directly or by deploying their nuclear micro-reactors there.
Knowing the Russians’ way of thinking and the increased activity of their submarines along the US coasts, I warned that the rapid intensification of hurricanes Helene and Milton was ignited by the deep, hot waters, intentionally heated by the Russian nuclear micro-reactors.
They could be placed either in the Gulf or in the waters of neighboring Caribbean countries, which, due to Patrushev’s visit there, signed agreements with Russia on security measures against the US, a plausible pretext for deploying Russian micro-reactors instead of protection.
In 2023, Nikolai Patrushev, secretary of the Security Council of Russia then and a close Putin's ally, suggested the Russians possess a unique weapon that can wipe out any country from the face of Earth. The Hurricane Helene landfall aftermath was a catastrophe close to Patrushev's description.
After my warning, which I detailed in my January 2025 analytical article, both the Gulf and the Caribbean were under strict monitoring. The #ObserverEffect blocked the Russians’ efforts to heat the Gulf deep waters, even if their nuclear micro-reactors most probably still remain there.
