This is what Hell, replacing Paradise, looks like from the inside. Russia's #climate/#weather #warfare is at its peak. On the other side, somewhere far in the Arctic, Russian icebreakers free of ice sail the ocean, and a couple of huge Russian swamps in Siberia dry out.
However, high temperatures and dry vegetation alone are not enough to trigger a #firestorm, a self-sustaining weather system, rather than just a minor #wildfire. There is a need for specific topography-induced winds, produced by mountains or a coastline, creating a temperature difference to quickly spread the fire, and for well-trained, well-equipped Russian arsonists disguised as tourists.
The picture reminds me of the Apocalyptic Maui firestorm in Hawaii in 2023 and the LA firestorm in California in 2025, both ignited by specific topography and Russian arsonists who exploited it. Now they have moved to Europe.
