An interesting picture that shows the different predictions of the potential hurricane Norbert's path. However, tropical storm Norbert didn't become a hurricane and is about to dissipate back into a depression before getting closer to Hawaii.
Without an upper cutoff low, a fragment of the polar jet stream, which broke the high-pressure subtropical ridge, high pressure remains strong and gradually dismantles the tropical storm, Norbert, with upper wind shear.
The artificially created upper cutoff low ( a fragment of the polar jet stream), the Russians managed to redirect Lowell northward, bringing massive disaster to Hawaii instead of bypassing them.
The upper cutoff low is what made Hurricane Marie channel its massive moisture and tides toward SoCal, causing unprecedented destruction.
The same fragment of the polar jet stream played the main role in a whiplash from rain to heat wave, turning SoCal into a boiler.
Why? After being exposed in my previous posts about Lowell and Marie, the Russians just retreat as they usually do. This explains why the forecasts of the most influential agencies had failed.
This is the Observer Effect in action. One more hurricane that could cause another massive amount of damage to Hawaii against the backdrop of destruction left by previous hurricanes was neutralized. As it happened many times before.
The Observer Effect, by destroying Putin's main advantage in the weather war, stealthiness and impunity, makes the Russians retreat.
